“This was a unique accident because I had two claims out of one accident: one against the driver that hit me and also a worker’s compensation claim.

The other driver claimed I had crossed the center line and caused the accident. But Mr. Earnshaw investigated and researched the law and was able to prove that in fact it was the other driver who crossed the center line. After which, he was able to get the other driver’s insurance company to pay the full policy limits and he got my insurance company to pay me an additional amount under my underinsured motorist coverage which I didn’t even know I had!

The Worker’s Compensation insurer declined coverage arguing that I was not at work at the time of the accident. Due to Mr. Earnshaw’s extensive knowledge of Worker’s Compensation law, we won on that question at the Worker’s Compensation Commission. The insurer appealed and Mr. Earnshaw won again in front of a jury in Baltimore County Circuit Court.”
